So, yeah. Just got back from the doctor. See, my ears have been hurting a bit lately, and my left ear feels all plugged up. Turns out it was plugged up...with pus! Yes, I have an ear infection, apparently caused by my seasonal allergies. The doctor prescribed loratadine (Claritin, basically) and amoxicillin (antibiotic). I have to take the latter 3 times a day for 10 days. Yay!

Anyhoos, have moved into my new apartment. It is much bigger than the one I had before. Houdini seems to be adjusting nicely, though he gets mad and mews at me if I'm gone for too long. Silly kitty. :3

So, yeah. Birthday and such. I'm not actually planning to celebrate it today, since I have to work (as do others), but I still thought I should write something about it. I got Guild Wars as an early gift from my parents when I visited for Manie's graduation (which rocked). Heeeeeeeee. :D

Tomorrow, however, I plan on gathering some peoples and going to see POTC 3, which shall be made of awesome. Maybe going out for some kind of meal somewhere as well. Maybe a bar. Yay booze!

Just saw Spider-Man 3 yesterday. :3 Was awesome. Shall probably be seeing it again many, many times. Am convinced that Venom is the coolest super villian ever. Would like to take Tobey Maguire and Topher Grace and make a Katie sandwich. X3

In other news, I have many, many assignments and such that I should be working on right now, but am having trouble finding the motivation to do. ~_~
Should probably get on that.

Why does the cat smell funny?

So, anyway, this morning I noticed that my cat had a rather unusual odor. So I picked him up asked my roommate about it. The following conversation ensued:

Me: Does the cat smell funny to you? *hands over Houdini*
Becka: He smells like vanilla jasmine body spray. XD
Me:...Did you spray him?
Becka: Yes. XD

Much laughter followed. XD

Anyway, I've been unemployed for over a month now, as I quit my previous job becuase it was costing me more money to work there than I was making. >_< So, yeah. Looking for new job. Yay.

I had a good Christmas. Received many good gifts. Had kahlua hot chocolate (or, as my sister Sarah refers to it, Christmas cheer ^_^).

Finally got to watch the Torchwood episodes I had downloaded. It is good. So very, very good. Watch it. Now, I say!

Anyhoo, not much else has been going on. I've been putting in some more applications, trying to find a job that pays a little better and doesn't require me to pay for gas every day. I think the applications I put in at Barnes & Noble and Waldenbooks should bear fruit.

So, I've now finished moving in with the Becka. It's been a blast so far. :D All I need to do now is go down to the old apartment, grab a set of curtains I left there, and give the landlord his keys back.

I've also started yet another new job, working as a distributor (read: salesperson) for a company in Duluth called Allstar Advertising. I am one of two girls who work there, besides the receptionist. It's actually a whole lot of fun, and I think I'm getting a lot more comfortable talking to people. :D

I picked up "Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way" at Robin Goodfellow yesterday. It is freakin' hysterical.
